Sector 1: Turn 3 Sweeper
After a long drag down the main straight, drivers brake for Turns 1 and 2 before undertaking the iconic, sweeping, high-speed Turn 3, which puts massive energy into the front-left tire.
Sector 2: aerodynamic test
A flowing middle sector featuring medium-speed sweeps and the tricky, uphill blind Turn 9. This sector perfectly exposes the aerodynamic strengths of an F1 car.
Sector 3: High Speed Return
With the slow chicane removed, the final two corners are now extremely fast right-handers, placing huge loads on the tires as the cars blast back onto the main straight.
